What to wear:
Snowshoeing is a physically active pursuit. You will need to dress in layers, starting with a thermal layer of pants and top next to your core. Wear breathable shell pants; a fleece or windstopper vest; bring along a fleece/windstopper/soft shell jumper or jacket and/or a shell jacket. Some lightweight thermal inner gloves and shell outers, a cap and beanie should complete your ensemble. Don’t forget the sunscreen and your sunnies! You may find your goggles fog up if you overheat so bringing sunglasses along is advisable.
Footwear:
Comfortable hiking boots or lace-up Sorels
